Seed pepper (Lepidium sativum)
Seed pepper, also called garden cress, belongs to the cruciferous family (Cruciferae) and it can be grown all year round. Due to the high content of vitamins, it is especially appreciated in the spring season. The seeds can be sown in boxes placed on the window. Pepper sprouts very quickly and after 2-3 weeks the first plants from field cultivation can be cut, and after 7-10 days from home cultivation. In field cultivation, it requires fertile and moist soil as well as abundant watering. Pepper seeds cannot be grown one after the other.
